I'm really enjoying this campaign so far - What an immersion!

I've played through the first 8 missions whole campaign now, and man, I am overwhelmed by the immersion. It's so cool to NOT be the lead, (although you are sometimes), and all the small details that really breathes life and realism into this campaign. I've never been a fighter pilot, but I totally believe that this is how things are going on IRL.

Agreed, one of the best campaigns in DCS. Very realistic, great attention to detail, decent story, everything worked. Great balance between realism and making things interesting and difficult too. Thanks for not cucking us on A2A refueling also.

Probably not for beginners though, the missions are very long and challenging. Mission 2 gave me probably the most trouble. I also botched the JSOW launch on the airfield, as I don't trust the Viper preplanned mode due to GPS/INS bugs, but that's on the jet module.

I liked this one better than the F-18 side. One thing that's a bit disappointing is weak Russian air, as the newer( comparable to AMRAAM) red missiles aren't in DCS, but the campaign works around it well.
