Spirale Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Hello, When i push the throttle from the "0" and initiate the zone "1" afterburner , i hear a clic = ok. The needle is in his 1st third zone. Then i push gently my throttle further and i hear a " second clic". The needle is still in zone "1". Could you, please, explain what is this "2nd clic" is about? Thx

Afterburner stages 1-2-3 will "light up". Second click is stage 2.Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk i know it but as i mentionned, the needle stay in the 1st zone after the "2nd clic" instead of being in the 2nd one. The " 1" light is on not the second . There is after un tiny clic (a 3rd) and then the needle goes to the correct "2nd" zone and the "2" is lighted Edited March 4 by Spirale
Machalot Posted March 5 Posted March 5 I've noticed the clicks seem to be slightly out of sync with the engine model. I can sometimes get past the first click and stay at MIL if I'm careful. "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
Spirale Posted March 5 Author Posted March 5 Thx Machalot, i tried again yesterday, i can confirme thereis a second clic well before de second zone...You have to be gentle on the throttle to simulate this
outbaxx Posted April 4 Posted April 4 The clicks simulate the soft stops in the throttle mechanism. The lights show if the throttle is in position 1,2 or 3, not if the afterburner is in zone 1.2 or 3.The needle show the nozzle position. The throttle position lights and the nozzle indicator can diverge more or less due to speed and altitude. The engine control unit controls the nozzle.
