Need Help - Can't See Ground Vehicles I Have Placed Using the Mission Editor When I Run the Mission

I hope that made sense.  I must have a setting problem or something.

When I build a mission using the mission editor and then run the mission I have built, I can't see the ground vehicles I have placed in the mission.  This happens for vehicles that are both on road and off road.

I know I'm doing something wrong.  Any advice you can share would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

Nothing obvious from that description, but I recall someone else having a similar issue recently.  You're better to post a small mission example for people to look at.

I have the same problem. I can place trucks, ships, MTLBs, BTR-80s, and T-72Bs in the mission editor, but only trucks are actually in the mission when I play it.

In fact, they're even missing from the A-10A Caucasus Close Air Support mission as well. No enemy units except for the Hinds, lol.

I just did a full 'scan every file' repair and it didn't help.

I just updated a large server mission to save with new update. All ground units are still appearing properly for me, verified visually with ctrl-f11 view that all redfor tanks, btr are still there.

I can see all vehicles just fine, so your mission is not the cause of the issue. I don't see your problem because I don't have active the Mod that is causing the issue:

I use a Mod Manager, that makes it a lot easier to find this kind of wayward Mods:

hope you can find the Mod that is causing this.

I am using a lot of mods.  I wonder if this problem is due to a specific mod(s).

It is. Multiple reports, while it seems it might be several.

I removed about 30+ aircraft mods from the mods/aircraft folder in saved games.  I did NOT remove the A-4E-C, C-17_Globemaster_III, Civil Aircraft Mod, and Military Aircraft Mod.  I also removed the entire contents of the mods/tech folder in saved games.  I then ran a Repair Build from the DCS Launcher.

Not the best solution, I guess, in terms of the mods I no longer have available in game, but everything is working properly now.

I’don’t like to have tons of mods loaded in the Sim at all times, I prefer to use a Mod Manager and load only those Mods that actually benefit the aircraft/mission that I’m flying at any given time. This is what has worked for me much better than every other approach that I’ve tried.
