Hi, I'm having a problem with the F-16's JSWO-A weapons. No matter how hard I try, they're inaccurate where I program them to hit with the TPOD. Is this just me? Could it be that they're drifting in the wind? Best regards, and thank you.

Thank you Skywalker, I already knew the tutorial, I do all the steps correctly and even doing point track with the tpod at 20 miles if there is gusty wind (I notice it on the HUD) or sometimes it falls a little short other times a little displaced to the right or left and other times if there is no wind they fall in their place. That's why I think they are influenced by the wind. What doesn't add up to me is that with the F-18 the JSOW model C do explode in their place, where I have marked them. Greetings and thanks

Best to salve this issue, is that you create a simple mission, and save the track, which you can paste it in here. So we can see whats going on. Ok? thx

Btw, does it happen the same with no wind as well? In Mission Edior where creating a mission, you can set the wind speed (on 3 different altitudes).

But please save the track and paste it in here.

Hi all,

I've encountered exactly the same problems.  I actually went to the trouble of spending many hours analyzing the issue, isolating variables, generating track files.  I found a reproducible issue, and ruled out many others.  I tried to be as helpful as possible, explaining my methodology and offering to add track files.  See thread here from January:

@Lord Vader replied and stated it was raised internally for analysis.  But the thread was locked and I've seen nothing else on this issue since.

This is as old as when the JSOW were introduced.

Don't worry in using these weapons in the F-16C since the rate of mission failure is very high

I've made this thread back then.
