With the Chinook receiving so much love the Hip might be growing more jealous.

I'm not sure where to start, but the list is long.

A rework would be a good start (see the Black Shark all way to Black Shark III).

... you know, tiny little things such as:

- Wipers
- Visors
- The flight engineer having a machine gun
- Players having access to the rear-gunner
- Bombing sight
- Everything connected to cargo (see the Chinook)
- Some modules have variants (SA342L, M, Mistral, etc.). Maybe an Mi-8 variant with ATGM's?
- The ability to remove IR suppressors, additional armour and cargo doors in-game with the rearm menu

These are some of the things, but there's more. That would make many Mi-8 lovers very happy and I think and really hope it would sell well, especially, if the ATGM's variant is added.

Meanwhile the ED chinnok has centred on a specific version (F), I dont expect ED build Mi-8 difernt versions.
Flight engineer has only MGs on other old versions, but the MTv2 has not equip with them.
A ATGM will be a Mi-8AMTSh, Mi-171SH-VN, etc, with diferent cockpit.
The bombing sight was "banned" by ED by bad use by some countries, years ago.
The cargo system has talked by ED will be use on the future on cargo system on aircrafts and helos.

i see , i made some research about "barrel bombs " used during Syrian civil war but i don't see connection with the bombing sight ...because we can carry (general-purpose ) bombs anyway... so much the worse

I'm aware of that, but decided to put that on my wish list nonetheless.

Like I said, other modules have different variants, so why not one additional Mi-8 variant with other capabilities.

Basically, any new russian helicopter would do if not some Mi-8 variant. Mi-2, Mi-4, Mi-6, Mi-26, Mi-28. The last 2 are probably unlikely to get, but the first 3?

we can remove the IR suppressor's, but id very much like to be able to remove the PZU's on the Hip and Hind

this isnt true afaik, MVD mozdok uses Tv2's and they have nose guns if memory serves, and even if it isnt true, why not make the nose gun available anyway to those who enjoy fun

that is so dumb its comical, because bombing terrorist's is bad somehow, and because DCS accurately representing a 60 year old helicopter is somehow going to lead to peoples deaths or spare their lives
