Snail Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I rebuilt my pc (mainbord, graphics card, cpu and memory) to a more current standard and used my previous Win10 install which works fine, after a re-buy of a product key. The issue I'm having is that all planes in DCS (standalone version) roll hard to the left when I enter the active 3D world in flight. I checked the controller setup: nothing strange there, although I had to remove some none-controller entries (like my Winwing ICP). I also checked the general roll curve: nothing strange there, it's a straight diagonal line with a dot right in the middle. Of course I re-calibrated my Cougar, but that didn't solve it. I checked BMS 4:37 and all is ok there. The screenshot is from the DCS general axis options page. Any idea's? How (s)low can you go
Flappie Posted April 5 Posted April 5 Please note the "General" category is not used by any aircraft. They each have their own category(ies). So if you have a controls issue with, say, your F-16C module, check controls in the "F-16C" category. If you've already checked your aircraft categories as well, start by running DCS with no devices other than the keyboard and mouse, and see if the issue persists. If the issue is gone, plug back your devices one by one. ---

I'm a bit reluctant to disconnect my Cougar: it's not the most user-friendly device and maybe I'll have to reïnstall it after disconnecting. But maybe it's the only option at this stage. Snail Posted April 5 Author Posted April 5 Without the Cougar the aircraft still roll hard. Btw, the Viggen rolls right, the P51 rolls left, just like the FC aircraft. How (s)low can you go
Solution MAXsenna Posted April 5 Solution Posted April 5 Without the Cougar the aircraft still roll hard. Snail Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Found it. I unchecked all axis in every module. Straight flight. Then added every axis one by one and bingo: the rudder calibration was off. Recalibration did the trick. 2 How (s)low can you go
