BunnyKeeper Posted April 18 Posted April 18 HI, I think following the update 26/3/2025 the JHMCS has become invisible. Once turned ON I have gone through the Alignment procedure but this appears to be malfunctioning. I can do the first part of the Alignment (the big cross, coarse setup) but the dy/dx that follows shows it to be perfectly aligned, which it is not. If I remove the BLANKING option for the HMD/JHMCS I do see all the info I'd expect to see just not blanked out when I look through the HUD. Setting the BLANKING removes all info no matter where I look? I've waited until the most recent update to see if that resolved the issue but it has made no difference. Over to DCS...... BunnyKeeper hello. you have at least one custom mod that could be causing your problem. SH-60B you should try to disable any mods and run a repair. BunnyKeeper Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Hi Silverdevil, Many thanks for your response, as far as i'm aware I have only ever downloaded/purchased from the DCS website, given that 3rd party mods cause issues. I have no idea what SH-60B is or how it has entered my system. All very strange. thanks for the heads up - I'll dig a little to see if I can find something but to be honest that's a little outside my area of knowledge - hey ho every days a learning curve. BK
Czar66 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 @BunnyKeeper I can't reproduce the track on my DCS due to an error. The JHMCS is working fine on my end. Check your DCS for any mod as Silverdevil said. Double check if you have all 3 MFDs turned on before testing the JHMCS with at least 1 engine fully started up and the generators on as well.
BunnyKeeper Posted April 18 Author Posted April 18 Hi Czar66, thanks for your input - I'm doing nothing different this week compared to months ago. The missing JHMCS is an issue in the DCS supplied Sidewinder mission (and others) the purpose of which is to use the JHMCS to lock up targets. Since that mission spawns into flight all MFDs are up and running. I don't really know where to start looking for any "mods" I've scanned through the saved games/DCS folder I see nothing unusual. MODS folder is empty, albeit there are two subfolders both are empty, LIVERIES is empty. I've logged a call with DCS to see what they make of it. BK
Solution BunnyKeeper Posted May 4 Author Solution Posted May 4 My initial issue has been resolved. Whilst the exact cause of the problem was unknown the solution was to rebuild the DCS folder in saved games. Problem solved. BK 1
