My Tobii Eye 5 works fine

but if I bind a key to ‘zoom view’ or ‘zoom view slow’, it doesn’t work (ie when I press the key it does not zoom)

any way to bind a keyboard key to zoom in and out while using Tobii Eye 5 head tracking ?

hello,

i use trackIR personally. i have a couple other zoom bind possibilities. one i currently use is the hat on joystick. i have a modifier button on throttle so i can still trim with the hat. this happens less than zooming. my f-16 throttle has a little round lever that also has a pressable button.

Is it possible to bind it to sim racing pedals? so if i press the acceleration foot pedal, it zooms in and the clutch pedal it zooms out?

in the zoom axis controls, it doesn't seem to work

Axis zoom only works in absolute controls, i.e. the current axis position sets the zoom level.

I used to have the zoom axis bound to my toe brake pedal so yes I think this should be possible with racing pedals. You would just have the zoom axis assigned so it will do both in and out when you move the pedal. You might need to invert the axis though and add some saturation level if you don’t want it all fish-eyed when you release it.

I've got a virpil CDT-max throttle with an analog axis lever for for flaps/propellor pitch/wing sweep - I've bound this to the zoom view in the 'axes' section of the control settings and it seems to work reasonably well, except for having to jiggle the lever at the start of a mission to get the zoom level synchronised with the lever position.
