Problems installing latest update

With the latest update I started receiving the following error that prohibits me from completing the update process OR removing the Apache module. When I try to delete the file manually I also get this report. The antivirus is set to exclude the DCS folder at all. What could be the problem?

first thing to try is add exceptions to all the DCS relevant folders in your AV software. it is a DLL and likely got flagged by the AV.

example for defender.

The entire DCS folder is in my exclusion/exception list already.

I guess you've fixed it by now. If not. You have defiantly only one AV solution installed? DCS is not already running i guess, but have you tried a reboot of your computer?

Solved it!
Turns out, it was an installer thing. The updater failed for some reason and created duplicates of the files, but after the fail, even though the window closed, the updater was still running and 'using'/referencing the files, not allowing them to be changed in any way. A restart solved the issue, after which I manually deleted them, and reinstalled the Apache.

Serves me right for not shutting down the PC for day at times I guess 😄
