Hello all, i was going through the UH-1H, it still holds up as one of the best helicopters in my opinion. However its been years since it was worked on as far as i know. I was wondering if it would be possible to know if theres a future for the module at all or is it done and over with? as a fan of the Huey platform, it would be amazing to see the rest of the family as there isnt too many options when it comes to the basic models, Single engine UH-1H or D is already here, its  doubtful theres many fans of the C models with the smaller interior however it would be cool to see. Regarding the future of the UH-1 module, maybe we could see a more modernized UH-1H with RWR, or we could get the UH-1N with the twin engines, yes it may have less overall power, however it was used all over the world, its great for Naval based operations, as well as SOF missions where you might lose an engine. It also has the ability to carry more sensors like RWR and missile detection. some even had terrain or weather radars onboard if im not mistaken. Then there is also the UH-1Y built on the 412 platform, ive seen both analog and glass cockpit versions, the RCAF just upgraded their CH146 Griffons (Bell 412) to the Glass cockpit from analog. As well as its also capable of carrying a different variety of modern sensors, the UH-1Y can even carry the APKWS rocket system, has onboard laser and FLIR systems, can operate with mini guns or GAU-21 50.cal MG, and they usually operate in tandem with the AH-1Z Viper attack helicopter. In DCS the AH-64D can fill that role for the time being, however the UH-1Y would make a great special operations helicopter, troop transport, reconnaissance, and AFAC. I hope people would recive this in a positive light, the UH-1H has served me well over the years as im sure it has all the fans of the module, it would just be nice for a modernization for the fans of either more modern helicopters, features, or even the other UH-1 style airframes. In Canada where I am from we used the Twin Huey as the CH135 for both Tac heli operations and for SAR, so the 1980s era twin huey is close to me personally. Thank you all for the read and I hope theres more people out there who would also love to see this

@NineLine If it wouldnt be too much to ask what would your thoughts be on the future of the UH1 module ? would this be something we should be open to seeing or is this more of just a dream? I know not everyone in the world is a fan, but I am sure theres more then just me who would love this too. Is ED considering anymore to do with the Huey? If its aloud to be discussed I mean

Visit the Dangerdogz at www.dangerdogz.com. We are a group based on having fun (no command structure, no expectations of attendance, no formal skills required, that is not to say we can not get serious for special events, of which we have many). We play DCS and IL2 GBS. We have two groups one based in North America / Canada and one UK / Europe. Come check us out.

lol thats true, but ive talked to a few UH1 guys and the windshield wipers rarely get used, the windscreen is a plexi glass and they tend to scratch the windscreen up pretty good, side note i guess
