Hi as a swede it is kind of given that I absolutely love the Viggen.

But she kind of need some updates, but also I would love to see more misc stuff.

For one I would love some training weapons like the training variant of Rb-75, Rb-05 and BK-90 for some examples these where often green or had an green stripe instead of a yellow one, tho I think the last mentioned where just inept but with the same functions while the green painted where more of an completely dead weight.

Stairs, wheel chocks, inlet covers/flags stuff like that would be awesome. The same with an actual BRAGG Cart/carts would also be cool. Basically bring her up to F-4 standard with ground eq.

I know it is not possible, and OT, but just gimme JA-37 and I would be fine.

Imho sorely needed even if it has to come as an FC3 level module due to lack of documentation.

More Cowbell VF-84 Tomcat Skins!

I am saying this since years.
Then all the "it must be 1:1 the real aircraft, otherwise DCS world and the whole world itself will crash down - nogo - never argumenters" fall over the forum and Discord in destroying the idea with their infinite wisdom. That really became boring.
It is a wonderful idea, and I really would love to fly it. At least FC level, but better of course in a more detailed level.

The problem is, to make it feel like a real JA 37, not just a grey Viggen 3d-model with a generic cockpit, you will need to use accurate HUD-, radar and TI-symbology, in a correct way. While a lot can be inferred from publicised photos and media, to make it right would probably require access to the user manuals (SFI), which are still, to my knowledge) classified. That precludes the creation of even a FC Viggen.

Also, I think a too simplified JA 37 would lose some of the stuff that makes the JA 37 interesting, like the autopilot assisted gun mode.

What I see right now is that FC aircraft like F-15C are still used on the servers which I am currently flying.
Radar modes in the FC F-15C e.g. are for sure not as "detailed and correct" as in the real F-15C.
So there is already a difference, but people still love to fly the FC F-15C, including me and buddies of mine.
I am sure there are people available in Sweden to help getting the basic radar modes working in a sort of FC-level JA37, but it seems no one is really willing to dig into.

"Also, I think a too simplified JA 37 would lose some of the stuff that makes the JA 37 interesting, like the autopilot assisted gun mode."
I think so too, not only because of one certain missing thing, but it could happen during the course of the journey that the information becomes somehow "known".
