Hi, I'm looking forward to many things today. Lastly, I'd like to have a zenithal view when we do a cold start from an airport and start exploring the streets, so we can know where we're traveling, as shown in this modified image. Best regards, and thank you.

Hi, of course I knew that, but you can't deny that with this help I'm proposing, it would be much easier for us to navigate taxiways, considering the limitations we have when we're in front of a computer screen and not in real life, where we'd have assistance from ground staff and a much more panoramic view. Best regards and thank you.

You can already see this on the F10 map like is shown in your example. Nearly every server I see has your aircraft symbol enabled, likely for this reason.

I think he means a live moving map that you can see in the cockpit.

I am not against a such option in general, but navigating an airfield behind a computer is not a whole lot different compared to real life. Ground personel (unless you request a follow-me because you got lost) will only help you at your parking spot and at the arming pad next to the runway. For everything inbetween, it is your responsability as the pilot to navigate according to ATC instructions. Use the charts, taxiway marking and signs to your aid. Learn how to read these signs and charts to navigate around.

Yeah but DCS doesn’t give you taxi instructions. If a server inhibits your external views and your plane location you’ll be unable to find your way. Again I usually see this enabled though. In SP if you like “fog of war” and the ability to get lost there’s always the external camera when you’re on the ground.
