Horns Posted June 1 Posted June 1 Potential new or returning customers are going to look at the DCS page to work out if there's anything interesting in enough to draw them in. Many won't want to sign up for the newsletter, seeing it as just another email coming into their already crowded inbox that they will often have little interest in. I just wondered if it might be worth adding a "Coming Soon" section to the DCS page, so that potential customers can easily find the modules likely to become available soon. You could combine this with a "Recent Releases" section, so people who haven't looked in a few months can easily find modules that might have been announced and launched since they last looked (eg: Cold War: Germany map). ED will have the analytic data, so they may have an idea of how many people this might attract. To me creating a "Recent Releases" and/or "Coming Soon" section seems like a modest investment of effort for plenty of potential benefit, but of course that's not my call. 5 Modules: [A-10C] [AJS 37] [AV8B N/A] [F-5E] [F-14] [F-15E] [F-16] [F/A-18C] [FC3] [Ka-50] [M-2000C] [Mig-21 bis] [Afghanistan] [Cold War: Germany] [Iraq] [Kola] [NTTR] [PG] [SC] Intel i9-14900KF, Nvidia GTX 4080, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master X 64GB DDR5 @ 6400 MHz, SteelSeries Apex Pro, Asus ROG Gladius 3, VKB Gunfighter 3 w/ F-14 grip, VKB STECS throttle, Thrustmaster MFD Cougars x2, MFG Crosswind, DSD Flight Series button controller, XK-24, Meta Quest 3
upyr1 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I'd love that. It would be a great way to highlight all the modules in the works. 1 1

The point of a coming soon page is to make it easier to find information about the specific modules and maps you are interested. 9 hours ago, hannibal said: is this the year of the PTO !!! and I'd like updates on my corsairs 1

The two should go together, I’m not suggesting we get rid of the ‘… and Beyond’, neither would do the job of the other. You know they will never put out exact dates for anything. That will just get them in trouble. Given the development pace of this game a once per year update is plenty. When I read the suggestions I just thought in the shop page and products page you could have a link showing the figure modules and assets. It would be a great way to highlight what is up and coming. I'd orginize the page in the following categories product type, era, projected release 7 hours ago, SharpeXB said: You know they will never put out exact dates for anything. I know they'll never put exact dates on anything unless it is close to realease and even then there is a reason I would say two weeks out from a posted release date "two weeks before they tell us two more weeks" 1

If the 'and Beyond' builds someone's appetite for a particular module, the 'Coming Soon' would offer them the opportunity to check back every so often and check if there have been any updates. Easier than sifting through the forum, deeper than a dev roadmap and far easier than searching old newsletters. 2 Modules: [A-10C] [AJS 37] [AV8B N/A] [F-5E] [F-14] [F-15E] [F-16] [F/A-18C] [FC3] [Ka-50] [M-2000C] [Mig-21 bis] [Afghanistan] [Cold War: Germany] [Iraq] [Kola] [NTTR] [PG] [SC] Intel i9-14900KF, Nvidia GTX 4080, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master X 64GB DDR5 @ 6400 MHz, SteelSeries Apex Pro, Asus ROG Gladius 3, VKB Gunfighter 3 w/ F-14 grip, VKB STECS throttle, Thrustmaster MFD Cougars x2, MFG Crosswind, DSD Flight Series button controller, XK-24, Meta Quest 3
