I'm guessing it was snuck in with the Sinai update, Prickly Hedgehog mentioned it during his Sitrep so I went and tested it and it has indeed been updated.

Seems strange that neither ED nor Rudel mentioned in this thread that bug fixes indeed have been implemented from the latest DCS update, and no new thread has been made to commend/compliment M3 for the fixes. Well, consider this my show of appreciation to M3/Rudel for all these great fixes, especially the multiplayer landing gear bug and the Essex elevator damage bug. Hat's off to the team and loving this bird!

I definitely noticed some changes as well.  Love this bird.  I love flying it with the canopy open when just cruising around the open sea looking for ships.  Sounds great and it’s cool (especially in VR) when you stick your head out the window how everything suddenly gets really loud

folks this thread is getting off topic now from the original title. As mentioned updates are coming and Mag 3 are planning a summer update.
