Dawgboy Posted July 15 Posted July 15 When flying on the Marianas WWII map on 14 Jul, DCS fully updated then with no mods beyond SRS, I could still see the distant enemy aircraft through the side mirrors, on both sides of the canopy rail. I have a video clip and will take a snapshot to show the before and during while maneuvering to the enemy aircraft's rear. I didn't test it on the top mirror. Dawgboy Posted July 16 Author Posted July 16 UPDATE: I didn't have this recorded, so no pix. However, I did have the small ^ label marker on. Would this be expected behavior...the labels visible to my eye position? The labels show through canopy bows, mirrors etc. That's not unique to the corsair. 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

This used to happen to me a few years ago for all aircraft, but no longer does. It was a great cheat for finding targets hard to spot on the ground. I thought it was quietly fixed, but perhaps I changed a setting somewhere? i don't know. I haven't experienced this in a very long time, and still fly with dots only. Wish I knew the reason. Can confirm as of last night I looked for this in the Corsair and did not see it. Yes, I don't think this is a bug it's a general labels thing. You can see the dots through the cockpit on every plane, it's just more noticeable in mirrors because of contrast (light sky background in the mirror). If you hit LShift+F10 one more time they will disappear.
