Night vision goggles help

Is there an easy way in Vr to turn on NV goggles and adjuat the gain up and down without having to lift the vr to try press 20 buttons? 

 

I currently run a Wartog hotas and vr

 

Any help would be great

Also which buttons to assign for these to work?

Perhaps bind the keys to adjust the gain to your stick/throttle or some other buttons you can easily find.

In the controls you can either use the search function in the category list to find the NVG Gain keys, or if you know them, pressing them will make your list jump directly to it, so you can easily bind anything to it.

If you're willing to invest, you could go for PointCtrl and add its aux banks.

That will give you two pads with 3 buttons each, that you can stick on your headset. These buttons can be bound at will. I always use the left one for NVG on/off and gain+-

The right one I use for various. For instance to salute in carrier aircraft.
