MickyG Posted Sunday at 05:17 PM Posted Sunday at 05:17 PM I just noticed that the plane Icons in SimmappPro under "Game Peripheral Display" /MFD for M-2000C, AV8BNR, F-15E and F-15E_WSO disappeared and are replaced by placeholders. Why is this? Is it a bug? I really don't like this, please let me know how to fix this! (I suppose it has something to do with the RazBam issue? But I still want this fixed!) MickyG Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago I just found out that after setting back my backup everthing is okay, but then after updating DCS the icons disappeared again!? So that problem is related to DCS and hopefully a bug that is gonna be fixed by DCS. Gigabyte Aorus Z790 Elite AX, I9 14900, Asus OC RTX 4090, 128GB DDR5

Demon214 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I noticed this yesterday. AV8BNA,M2000C,F-15E AND F-15E WSO.
Demon214 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago They still open in lower screen to select MFD location. I don't have these air frames so I don't know if they work or the icons is just missing

I don't have these air frames so I don't know if they work or the icons is just missing It sounds like simapp pro is taking the icons from in game, but for people that do not own the modules the icons were removed from game main menu because they were confusing people trying to buy them when they have been removed from the store. If you own them and have them installed they will show. This is intended, so simapp pro may need to change the way it fetches the icons. thank you 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? ED Team BIGNEWY Posted 13 hours ago ED Team Posted 13 hours ago As mentioned I think sim app pro needs to check where they are taking the icons from. If its from the DCS demomods folder they wont be able to fetch them as they are no longer there. The icons will only show on the dcs main menu for people who have them installed as the icons are in dcs root, mods aircraft folder. 1 Forum rules - DCS Crashing? DCS cannot be responsible for something they did not create. there are lots of other users having issues over the years with simapp pro. check this post too. MickyG Posted 11 hours ago Author Posted 11 hours ago Problem is solved. (Have a look at this topic in winwing) Icons were removed by DCS since the last update. Best regards Christian Dear Christian, The icon files are stored in the DCS folder in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\DemoMods\aircraft. The Icon files for those modules were removed by Eagle Dynamics since the last update. Luckily I had a backup from my drive with the previous version of DCS with those Icon files and I copied them to my actual DCS folder. That solved it and the icons show up now like before.
