hreich Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Can somebody from DCS Blackshark please explain how to use Logitech force 3D pro (forcefeedback) joystick, because i have bought the stick specially for this sim, and for 3 days i cant get it to work with Dcs. My pitch control is way to sensitive. The same stick works perfectly in other sims. 1. I need graphicall explanation and examples of curve settings in DCS options 2. How to set ff effects and sensitivity in Logitech software 3. Where are force feedback effects for firing gun and rockets, turbulence etc? 4. Do i have to enable center spring force feedback option in logitech software? 5. Please if somebody from DCS Team was flying using the Logitech Force 3D pro FFB stick, tell us how to set it do we can fly it also Reich [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia

There are no other effects present in the sim. This is really sad as its the best flight sim ever and even the old Falcon 4 supports force feed back. I hope a patch will add and fix the Trim force feed back effect for Saitek sticks. StoOopiD Posted January 3, 2010 Posted January 3, 2010 DCS HELP US!!!!!!!!!!!! The game needs to have a joystick calibrator tool. where u move the stick around and hit buttons and the game sets it automatically. I have never flown a Ka50 Blackshark so i have no idea how the stick should feel ? i think the x,y saturation sliders are not working correctly? yes they do tone down the sensitivity in the center but you also lose range. Shouldnt they be sensitivity only? The best results ive found is having Blackshark x.y axis default, edit the joyrange.cfg from 400 to 10 or even 1 , and not using the Logitech gaming software. The rockets on my Blackshark are useless. unless im within 200m and my rockets are set to long. 3km rocket kill are 1 in a million.:joystick: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Crosshair VIII hero wifi, 3800x w/ Enermax 360 AIO cooler (push-pull), 32gigs DDR4 Ripjaws 3600, Win 10 home on a Plextor PCI-E x4 3gb/s HD, EVGA 2070 Super FTW3 ultra+, Soundblaster Z Rift S, M$FFB2, CH Pro throttle, Saitek pedals BS2, A10C, P51D, SPITFIRE, FC3, Uh-1H, F86, Mi-8MTV2, SA342, MIG21-bis, AV8BNA, F14, F16, FA-18C, SUPERCARRIER

Griffin Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I'm using Logitech Freedom 2.4. It's not the same joystick you have but should be very close. I'd just forget about the Logitech software with such a simple stick. It only messed up my controls. My axis settings (in game): Pitch & Roll curvature: +17 Yaw deadzone: +5 That's it!
StoOopiD Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 I decided to re-install BlackShark today. Only to find the same dam sensitivity problem on my Logitech Force 3D Pro. I think ive figured this super sensitivity BullSHlT OUT!! look in C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Scripts and delete the X52Pro Folder or just move it to your desktop im playing with default joystick curves, joyrange, no logitech software and un-checked the center trim button. The stick feels perfect now why is that folder even there ?????
