sweinhart3 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 When receiving Data linked targets is it possible get shkval to automatically slew to the target point or is it all manual searching? Intel i7 990X, 6GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 470 x2 SLI, Win 7 x64 http://picasaweb.google.com/sweinhart

Edited August 14, 2009 by joey45 1 The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Peyoteros Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 There is a way to turn on targets automaticlly. As said before, if you're to lazy to read user manual, watch producer notes... "Eagle Dynamics" - simulating human madness since 1991 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] ۞ ۞
RichardG Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Once you have datalinked target saved, do this: Close schval (backspace). Select datalink target until you see it flashing on ABRIS. Select D/L Ingress (yellow button will light) Hit "schval select" switch, I cant remember exact name of it, the one that opens/activates your schval. Camera should slew directly to selected DL target. Be sure auto-turn to target is selected.
CAT_101st Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 RichardG is correct, not schval select but Uncage schval. EinsteinEP Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 And auto-turn to target is not necessary to slave Shkval to datalink target point, but helps pointing helo nose at target point (disclaimer: if the Heading autopilot channel is activated, the controls are properly trimmed, and Flight Director is off).
