-Rudel- Posted August 17 Posted August 17 I personally don't know how to add static objects to the hangar deck, but it is there. https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1 x 15TB SSD U.2 i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD
C_casber Posted August 18 Author Posted August 18 (edited) i mean to store player and ai aircraft in the hangar after the landing to make room on the deck just like one the airfield when they land the ai go to a parking spot and shut down just like on the nimitz class from ED Edited August 18 by C_casber
-Rudel- Posted August 18 Posted August 18 There is a connector at the center of every lift. It will lower as long as the player and/or AI is placed correctly over it. 1 3 https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1 x 15TB SSD U.2 i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD
Tshark Posted August 22 Posted August 22 What is considered correct placement over the connector? Does the engine have to be stopped to engage lift? 9800X3D (5.21GHz Turbo), RTX 5090 OC 24GB, ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E GAMING Motherboard, G. -Rudel- Posted August 22 Posted August 22 Good question, because, even we at Mag3 have difficulty. The AI doesn't seem to have any issues, since they use the connectors as reference. 1 https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1 x 15TB SSD U.2 i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD

A couple of the guys in vCTF-58 were testing this out not long ago and came to the same conclusion. C_casber Posted August 25 Author Posted August 25 what about make it from the f10 menu talk to the ground crew to lower the elevator when the player is on the elevator 3
toan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Hi, I noted that after a 2 hours long mission (!), when the deck of the Essex carrier was full of parked F4U-1D (although some of them dissapear after a certain amount of time). The next landing airfcraft parks on the center elevator, which then lowers and the aircraft goes parking in the lower deck hangar. The following aircraft parks on the port side elevator BUT a little too far aft, so that the tail wheel is off the elevator platform, an easy glitch to update !). It then goes parking in the lower deck hangar. Please, see the screenshots below. One more comment : the single barrel 20 mm guns on each side of the ship should point outboard, and not forward to the ships's bow. Great addition to DCS ! Thanks ! Enjoy.
