Aeroscout Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Very Nice! What aircraft does it replace? DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices
Alper22 Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 F-15 mate. "Let my armies be the rocks, and the trees, and birds in the sky"
OldCrow Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Looking good :) Just alittle feedback of the screenshots: Im not that familiar with the F-22, but it semes to me that the main wheel tires are alittle to "thick", and the landing gear might be alittle "short" [sIGPIC]http://www.virtualredarrows.com/member_sigs/vra2012_crow.png[/sIGPIC]
_Jumper_ Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Nice ! Looking good...... Raptor is for me importent ! (= Have you the Nozzles with the Pitch connected ?

Nice ! Looking good...... Raptor is for me importent ! (= Have you the Nozzles with the Pitch connected ? No because it have thrust vectoring. czarnyolek Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Whells are not spinning and i dont know how to open weapon bays. besides that, if Youll smooth it out a bit and change material for canopyglas it will be great :) Well done mate
Alper22 Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 R is open the side/main bay doors. and i lost my argument list so i dont know which argument are spinning whells :D Sorry for it. "Let my armies be the rocks, and the trees, and birds in the sky"
Ells228 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Great start Alper, I'll test her out for you this week.
joey45 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I'll download A.S.A. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. OldCrow Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I'll download A.S.A. P sorry just had to :D [sIGPIC]http://www.virtualredarrows.com/member_sigs/vra2012_crow.png[/sIGPIC]
Agg Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I'll download it right away, but from the screenshots, especially the first ones it looks more like a YF-22 than an F-22...
mikoyan Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 OH NO! now I'm screw. how I'm I supposed to detect this airplane with my outdated mig radar!
john_X Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 before you release the final version look again at your raptors shape, and see many photos with the real one.its not even close...
Alper22 Posted September 1, 2009 Author Posted September 1, 2009 before you release the final version look again at your raptors shape, and see many photos with the real one.its not even close... Please report me what is the wrong on the model? And i will fix it. But i dont think i make to big mistake on it. Im working on that model for a long time and i use F-22 raptor model kit with the high resolution photos and blueprints when im modelling the plane. "Let my armies be the rocks, and the trees, and birds in the sky"
john_X Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 im not sure im right, it may be optical ilusion. can you put a side render from left or right? and one from above too?
Alper22 Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 Hope those enough. "Let my armies be the rocks, and the trees, and birds in the sky"
john_X Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) can you put some renders from the 3d program? anyway, from this one you can see the difference. in the 3d model the profile of the nose is like a ducks nose and in the blueprint the profile is like a gooses nose, more aerodinamical... i cant explain very well... so, the first blueprint is correct, and the second one its also, the third its not and i think the gear is too low. to me it seems the plane is too close to the ground.. Edited September 3, 2009 by john_X
jerom1992 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Looks pretty much correct to me but I shouldn't critisise becauce I'm no modmaker xD
john_X Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 thats why i asked for a side view from the 3d program.to see its real profile. but i see his nose like the one from the third blueprint i gave...
Alper22 Posted September 3, 2009 Author Posted September 3, 2009 (edited) Hi again John. I get your blueprints to before i start modelling that plane. There is much incorret blueprints on internet and hard to find good one. That all blueprints is different than each other as you see. And yes plane looks to low to ground. But i just modelled what i see in my blueprints; Those ones is best F-22 blueprints that you can find on internet. I search to much. I got over 100 pictures from F-22. Different much blueprints. And i use the best ones for modelling. So dont worry to much about geometry of that model. It have almost %95 correct geometry as real F-22 im sure. I modelled the F-22 secret gun bay to but i dont animate it yet. But as you say maybe i must fix that plane elevation. It looks really low. Azrayen Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Hey, a raptor, cool :) Didn't had time to test it for now, but from the screenshots I would say you need to re-work the canopy shape, it seems too "conical" on top. ;) Cheers Az'
john_X Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 (edited) thats what i meant too... you have a too tall cockpit Edited September 4, 2009 by john_X
