Using mouse view like in MSFS

Hi,

I am currently using Trackir when playing DCS.

However, with the up coming release of the C-130J, I think it may be better when not tactical flying to just use mouse for navigating the big cockpit.

Is there a way like in MSFS to toggle mouse look while holding middle mouse button and regain switch clicking mode when releasing the button ?

It would be very convenient when not using Trackir.

Pressing the mouse middle button twice activates the mouse view to look around, do it again, and it goes back to pointer mode

I tried it. It is better than nothing but the double click is a pain. 

A temporary button would be way better. As well as options for mouse speed and smoothness. 

I guess I should submit a request in Wishes sub forum.

I use a mouse with extra klicks/keys with moving the mouse wheel left or right. So I avoid the double klick and just do a right klick on the wheel.

It's also just a workauround - not what you've asked for, I know.

You can assign any button to toggle mouse view panning. It switches between paning and the cursor. The default bind is Alt+C for most of the aircraft.
