Darcaem Posted Friday at 07:36 PM Posted Friday at 07:36 PM (edited) The problem only appears to happen with the Harrier. AI Harriers set to take off from parking only taxi to runway but do not take off, bloking it so the mission cannot continue as no other flight can take off. Any flight taking off before them does take off without issues. Last time I played was last saturday or sunday, before the current patch, and they did work (but it was a different retribution mission, pretty much the same aircraft involved, but different flights) Attached are two missions in CW and Caucasus as an example, with flights on some random airbases. I did have mods, but I've removed the "./mods" folder entirely to test it (please do check the missions in case there is something else on my end that might be causing it) HARRIER_BUG_CW.miz HARRIER_BUG_CAUCASUS.miz Edited Friday at 07:51 PM by Darcaem Clarify it seems to be an AV8B's bug
Iceviper Posted Saturday at 12:23 AM Posted Saturday at 12:23 AM I've just had the exact same problem this evening. Because of the uploaded files I haven't added a track. Two AI harriers set to take of from Kandahar on Afghanistan. They taxi to the runway and then the trail aircraft applied wheel chocks and the two just sat there blocking the runway and stopping the mission as already described in the original post.
Draken35 Posted Saturday at 01:28 PM Posted Saturday at 01:28 PM Confirmed. Created new mission: Single (to rule out taxi interreference) veteran AI Harrier at Batumi, take of from parking, with a few waypoints including a landing one. Plane goes to runway, nozzles to 10° and seems to me adding power but moves only inches at the most. Seems to be stuck in the runway. 1
