Socialoutcast Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I am experiencing significant latency issues with the mirror rendering in VR on the Meta Quest 3. When I move my head or adjust my pilot position, the mirrors exhibit a delay of approximately 0.5 seconds or greater before reflecting the movement. This lag renders the mirrors effectively unusable. This mirror latency significantly impacts gameplay immersion and tactical awareness, as real-time mirror feedback is essential for situational awareness during combat operations. I have tested this issue across different connection methods to isolate potential causes. The latency persists both when using Virtual Desktop over wireless connection and when connected directly via cable without Virtual Desktop. This consistency across connection types suggests the issue is related to the mirror rendering implementation rather than the connection method or bandwidth limitations.
Cgjunk2 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I had the same issue I think. I describe it more along the lines that the mirrors are rendering at a slower frame rate than the main image. I noticed it was happening across various modules. I resolved the issue by selecting the highest resolution option, and deselecting sequential mirror option, and selecting rendering for every frame. In my case, I cod click those options within game sitting in the cockpit, and the results were immediately noticeable. 1
Nealius Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Same in the Quest 2. Movement delay and poor framerates when I enable to middle mirror. If I use only the side mirrors things seem okay.

If you deselect sequential mirrors, you can use any combination of mirrors or a single mirror and they will all render at the same frame rate as the rest of the image. Not sure if the sequential option is messed up, or if it’s meant for and works better on very low-spec computers Edited 16 hours ago by Cgjunk2
