What binding are you using to transmit?

There you have it. Stop using it. It only works on ground, with Easy Comms enabled, or with FC modules.
Start using the correct PTT keybind. For most single PTT modules it is RAlt + \.

Cheers!

Full fidelity modules can have several buttons for Radio/intercom.

The default # key is usually for the intercom, which doesn't transmit anything by radio but uses the intercom system, to which only ground crew can listen to.

There is usually a dedicated radio button that you need to use to be able to actually transmit over the radio.

Additionally, make sure the radio preset frequency matches the receiver which you want to contact.

For German yes, while this is not true for English version/English keyboards. Then it is backslash "\".

The AWACS frequency must be preprogrammed on the aircraft.

If that's is done, you only need to select the channel.

That too of course. But correct keybind is kinda alpha omega to contact it. 😉

Sorry, don't have the Fulcrum! Ask in the drop tanks thread.😉

Cheers!

Edit: Remember that in all FF module, (except for a few), you need to double check the PTTs in each. Like the F-16 has two and the Warthog four. Instead of using the comms menu.
