Noticeable stutter and slow loading

Hey,

Just got AH-64 for a trial and I liked it very much so far. Now there is that issue where first of all it takes ages to load the mission and then the stutter and spiking while running as low 30fps doesn't get rid of it.

Only thing I noticed was that when I plugged the wireless controller on the usb it disappear and everything started to run smooth as any other module on any map so far.

Glad you enjoyed the trial.

Please disable hotplug and retry, it is usually the reason, some pc's do not handle it well.

I will move this to the controls issues section, as it isnt a aircraft bug.

thank you

Another option would be to check the polling rate of your other input device (mouse).
DCs seems to be particular allergic to high polling rates. (Like a lot of "gaming" mouses have - personally I would also try to get rid of proprietary software like Razor or Logitech for that matter)

Yes, I'm familiar with Spud's video related his Logitech mouse.

The stutter however is only present and noticeable only while loading/flying Apache module and  is from time to time as something is pinging the game but much noticeable when changing the state from lift off and landing. It doesn't go away and showed up while flying. That is why I posted it as module bug. Thought the reason was related to recent Caucasus map update but is present on all maps.

Unfortunately Disabling Hot Plug didn't change the stutter state.

Hello again,

spend more time trying different suggestions and so far I tried to turn off Hot Plug Scan, Hyper Threading and lowering settings without any success or difference. One more thing I noticed was comparing the Task Manager's GPU Window and every time there is a stutter in DCS this shows up on the window:

You have quite an odd GPU, how recent is its driver?

The P4000 can't run complex games, better if you use it only for your professional software and buy a game-only machine.

I bet I can fixed all issues in DCS after buying 5090 😄 how about that?

Speaking of 'game-only machine' why are you running yours on 1440p?

The only add thing is that the AH-64D is the single module in DCS which requires all 8GB VRAM and stutters. So yeah it's called optimization and for few months is the only scream I make on this forum that no ones cares and everyone chant 'buy new hardware'. Thanks, but no thanks!

Ok, wanted to help, but it seems you are trying to make a „me-problem“ a general problem. 🙄

I put it bluntly. Your hardware isn’t up to the task.

Yes, that's right. Your GPU isn't suitable for gaming. Just google it. But you don't seem to be interested in getting help and instead just complain that your problems are caused by ED.

I run my (really expensive) professional software on a P4000, so I know it's limits. Why I run on 1440? I have only one 32" monitor and simulators/games don't require bigger resolutions... Btw: you're free to fry your (2018) pro-only GPU with games, it's not my money... Best regards.

If it was suitable 'for gaming' I wouldn't buy anything from ED store, in matter of fact I wouldn't complain here AT ALL!

...don't require bigger resolutions... 😄 The moment I require to upgrade that machine for games I'm selling the account for ED! So yeah is not your money. Cheers!
