PoleCat Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Pull. Seems more sensible to me. Always done it that way since Longbow 2. Out http://www.104thphoenix.com/
159th_Falcon Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 It's impossible to argue one way is better than the other so whichever feels most natural! Spit.. or swallow..? Who said any of the ways is better? I was just asking out of curiosity, did you even read the questions before posting??? Check: They explain how a helicopter works........:) Eh no, they explain how an R22 works (maybe R44) but really, cant call it an helicopter:music_whistling: Anyway, people interested in how helicopters work (especially the aerodynamics part of it) may be interested in this site; http://www.dynamicflight.com/aerodynamics/ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] The keeper of all mathematical knowledge and the oracle of flight modeling.:)
Emmer Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 (edited) Eh no, they explain how an R22 works (maybe R44) but really, cant call it an helicopter:music_whistling: I meant how the collective is used...........up or down. Up for lifting up......:smilewink: The twist on the collective is used to give gas, turning it left or right. The example of the R22 was just, well..........an example. Kurtz Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 ***OFF TOPIC*** Kurtz, wasnt it possible to set you transmitter to a different mode to get your helis operating as you wanted to? Should not be needed whit an average Tx to modify your helo's With some TX it was that easy, on others I encountered a problem where after the input was reversed the ESC never saw the throttle as 0% on startup so it would fail to fire up. A problem with the pot positioning which i corrected. Sorry guys, I was just answering the post, back on topic now :joystick: "Pull up"
Sarge55 Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Use the X52pro, pull collective (throttle handle), programed in game with invert ticked.
