tekwoj Posted Tuesday at 11:48 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:48 PM The stall buffet frequency was fine when the module released, but now it's way too high and makes the plane unflyable. Also the gun firing vibration used to be there but now it's gone. Honestly it feels like the stall is using the gun firing frequency.
Hiob Posted Wednesday at 04:01 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:01 AM (edited) I didn't notice any change or problem here. Which FFB device are you using? Do you use any 3rd party effects software? (like TelemFFB for the Rhino) edit: I have to correct myself. Just tried it again and compared to the P-47. Indeed the buffet is a pretty high frequency (compared to the P47, though I admittedly can’t tell if it was different before). Guns effects I don’t get in either of both without using the 3rd party effects software though. When I use it, the effect is the same as always. (My bigger gripe with the stall buffet is that it comes too early. Obviously I have no reference other than other Warbirds in DCS, but in comparison to the P-47 it is quite clear (same speed, no payload). But that is besides the point.) tekwoj Posted Thursday at 08:56 PM Author Posted Thursday at 08:56 PM I'm on Moza AB9. I remember distinctly being surprised that gun vibration comes from the direct input, cause most modules in DCS didn't have it. I use only Direct Input for the corsair, no telemetry. I"m pretty sure the vibration had lower frequency because I flew it quite a bit when it came out and it was very enjoyable on ffb.

It's pretty much up to the developer what effects are used and to what extent from the Direct Input library for Force Feedback. Telemetry is awesome, but if FFB had been more popular in flightsims as long as FFB has existed, who knows where we'd been today. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/desktop/bb153254(v=vs.85)
Hiob Posted Saturday at 05:30 PM Posted Saturday at 05:30 PM There’s room for improvement. Granted. But „unflyable“ is a bit of a stretch….. 1 "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"

Bowie I have it at 50. It's not about intensity, it's about the frequency. Flying corsair at 10 AoA feels like holding a vibrator. 1

Bowie Isn’t that just about the visual effect? I don’t think that it affects FFB. "Muß ich denn jedes Mal, wenn ich sauge oder saugblase den Schlauchstecker in die Schlauchnut schieben?"
