Magot Posted October 22 Posted October 22 (edited) In any configuration and date/time in the mission editor, the F-14A Early version is not listed in the list of planes in the mission editor. Also, F-14A Early is not on the list of aircraft in Quick Mission Builder. I haven't purchased the F-4E module. I hope this is not needed for functionality F-14A early version, because ALR-46 is a part of F4E!. Edited October 22 by Magot
Joch1955 Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Hi, have not checked new missions, but I have been modifying IA missions to play with the plane and the F14A early is in the dropdown menu for ACs.
Czar Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Draken above seems to be correct. Uncheck that watch icon button on the bottom of the ME screen to disable historical filters. A common bug whenever a new unit is introduced into the sim. 2

Hi, unfortunately it seems Heatblur forgot to add the "F-14A (early)" to the Historic Filter, and also forgot to adjust the introduction date for the non-early variant, which currently stands at 1974: So, for now you MUST disable the historic filter if you want the early variant 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Magot Posted October 23 Author Posted October 23 (edited) Thanks, guys, after filtering OFF, it works ok Anyway, this filter for this early Tomcat does not work properly, because I tried proper dates like 1974, 1978 for this plane, and it was still hidden. Edited October 23 by Magot

Just FYI, the aircraft is depicted as more of a mid-1980s to mid/late-1990s version, so those dates aren't appropriate for it. The previous A is more mid/late 1990s+ and the B is late 1980s+ - whether historical mode reflects that I haven't tested yet. Tholozor Posted October 25 Posted October 25 (edited) @Northstar98 is correct; the B and the late-model A are both MMCAP-upgraded birds, representative of the mid-90s (circa '93~'94 at the earliest). The early-model A is more mid-80s (circa '83~'84 at the earliest).
