DCS Rollbacks / Version changes have never been easier

I have recently notice in my community the big questions tends to be "how do I Rollback my DCS version" its quite easy and there are a lot of great posts out there on how to do it manually but who's to stop me from playing with a little python code to make it easier that's what python is for! Here is my Rollback tool! currently the Rollback versions tool has 3 buttons let me explain!
 

Button one (Rollback last version): this button takes straight from the DCS logs to installed the Previous version available for example if we are on version DCS 2.9.21.16552  it will rollback to the last version to  DCS 2.9.21.16362 

Button Two (Choose Version): this button This allows you too skip the command prompt and simply enter the version number you want installed and will promptly do so. this helps for folks looking to take a further step back or try modules that are no longer supported on a newer update! 

Button Three (Check versions): this button simply opens the DCS Change Logs Page for you to search for the version you want! After finding the version copy and past it into the Choose versions tab!

This version changer is programed to search threw your directory's until DCS is found and execute the commands necessary to rollback your version successfully.  This currently works for stand alone and steam!

 

I look forward to hearing your feedback and if there is anything i can do to improve this application for us sim pilots! 

NOTE: This Program will be flagged by Microsoft defender as i do not have a $360 yearly Signature to sign it with this is 100% safe luckily media fire has a scanner before you download and it comes back 100% clean once downloaded click more info on Microsoft defender and click run anyways! Happy Rollback!

Sounds good but we already have this tool for years:

^ Indeed. However, although Skatezilla's app is more advanced and has many more functions, it's also a bit messy and counterintuitive to configure properly for the very first time. Especially for new players who are usually the ones asking about DCS version rollback. I think Pyke's more simple tool above might be an intersting alternative for them.
