press
I am trying to redo the trimmer sounds, and I hit a snag. Maybe someone here can help me. The problem is that although there are two sounds in the Sound directory the sim uses only one of them (trimmerclickhold.wav). I would like to make two different sounds for when you press and when you depress the trimmer button. I tried to make one file sound, but that is just awkward. Anyone here knows how to make the sim to accept use of trimmerclickrelease.wav?

joey45
two sounds and are both used.. one sound to hold the trimmer and one to release it. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. press
two sounds and are both used.. one sound to hold the trimmer and one to release it. That is what I initially thought. But when I ran the sim after changing the files, only one sound was playing when I press or depressed the trim button.
joey45
should be two differnet sounds. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. STP Dragon
press is right. There are two soundfiles but only one is used for both actions. I also have edited the sound in my mod. Frakin Toasters
Just so you know, press and depress are essentially the same word when used in this context.
