Another radar controls settings question...

Ladies and gentleman, I have a question about "radar movements"
F-15C in game menu:

CONTROLS - AXIS COMMANDS - there are 2 parameters about radar:
RADAR HORIZONTAL
RADAR VERTICAL

CONTROLS - SENSORS - more parameters:
PREDICTED TARGET RANGE DECREASE
PREDICTED TARGET RANGE INCERASE
SCAN ZONE DOWN
SCAN ZONE LEFT
SCAN ZONE RIGHT
SCAN ZONE  UP

QUESTION:

Do any of the RADAR HORIZONTAL and RADAR VERTICAL commands from CONTROLS - AXIS COMMANDS overlap
with any of the CONTROLS - SENSORS commands?
I have a feeling they do, but I'm not sure.

RADAR HORIZONTAL
RADAR VERTICAL

correspond to any of these CONTROLS - SENSORS commands?
PREDICTED TARGET RANGE DECREASE

because you're asking about Flaming Cliffs F-15C module.

This subforum is for full fidelity F-15C module - not realeased yet for DCS.

PREDICTED TARGET RANGE DECREASE
PREDICTED TARGET RANGE INCERASE

These are named badly but they control narrow/wide RWS/TWS scan.

Afaik Scan zone keys should correspond to Radar Vt/Hz axes.

So - RADAR HORIZONTAL and RADAR VERTICAL commands from CONTROLS - AXIS COMMANDS are for?
There are names in controls that are not in Manual, there are names in AXIS that are not in Manual or Sensors, it's a mess...

Afaik radar horizontal will move scan cone left/right in narrow TWS mode and radar vertical will move the radar elevation scan up and down.

Edit: It's the TDC left/right that moves narrow RWS/TWS scan left/right.

Maybe someone will be able to confirm this.
I tried to check it in-game, but since I'm unsure whether the controls are duplicated, it's hard to check...

I’m confused. In my Controls section for the F-15C, under Axis, there is no option for either Radar Horizontal or Vertical, only TDC. If the same is true in yours, then TDC slew and Scan Zone Up, Down, and so on are two different things.

@Kattern Since Flaming Cliffs modules share mostly the same keybinds lists some binds are simply not used in some modules.

Scan zone left/right keys and Radar Horizontal axis does nothing in the F-15C. Scan zone left/right do move the scan zone in Su-27 for example.

Scan zone up/down and Radar Vertical axis move the radar antenna elevation in F-15C.

You have “RADAR” up/down and right/left under axis commands rather than “TDC”?

DUH!!! So do I. Just missed it somehow. So the answer to Kattern’s first question is that they are duplicates. It’s just a question of using an axis or a discrete key/button push for the control.
