But then again, it's not really much different to an airfield takeoff. Only main difference is the shorter available runway. Aircraft wise the only difference is you keep the tailwheel unlocked and maybe some flaps, rest is pretty much the same. admiki Posted Friday at 08:29 PM Posted Friday at 08:29 PM It's actually easier. Quite a lot less of tail swing due to wind over deck. Landing is the opposite though. Harder by a lot. 1
