johnco61 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Hi all Just got trackIR after taking your advice, all I can say is thanks its brilliant!!! Can’t believe it takes so little time to set-up and how affective it is. Just one thing though how do you use the mouse to point and click cockpit buttons etc when using trackIR, is this possible? Thanks again John :)
71st_Mastiff Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 yes you might have to go into the input setting and check to make sure there not doubled mapped.. EtherealN Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Alt-C switches between mouse modes, and the mode that sets it to only move cursor should not come into conflict with your TrackIR. johnco61 Posted November 21, 2009 Author Posted November 21, 2009 Thanks for that Do I have to us ALT + C all the time or can you set this mode as default
astrospud Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I have just purchased TIR5 and find that if I bind a Left mouse click button to my HOTAS, I can keep mouse mode on and interface directly by moving my head to hilight the input I want to switch. I then press the bound LMB. I do this for Fence in/out sequence where I want ot stay hands on. The mouse crosshair is not obtrusive. Rectum non bustus
Total Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Once upon a time, there was no TrackIR interface. That was a very long time ago and a very dark chapter in gaming...........
Paco Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 I also just got track IR 5 about three weeks ago and can't believe I flew flight sims without it. First day I fought it, second day I thought it was okay, by day three I can't fly without it. Makes flying the Black Shark much easier. Paco Paco
