Stuntie
That sure would be nice. or fixing the weak centre play at the very least. Cheers Stuntie [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pilotasso
I have G940, and better than the FFB efects is proper centering and less slack at the center. EtherealN
What I'm curious about is what you intend the FFB to do on fly-by-wire planes. :P Well, there's stick-shake I guess, if they do use that. Pilotasso
FFB stick are the only ones you can fully custumize return to center tension, plus I didnt buy solely for that purpose, I got it because of the dual throttle and because my X52 was giving its last breaths of life. EtherealN
That return-to-center thing is actually a pretty good point, I grant. Just as long as people don't start asking to feel the recoil of the cannon in the stick, like a guy wanted to have in DCS. :P [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester

Bucic
What I'm curious about is what you intend the FFB to do on fly-by-wire planes. :P Well, there's stick-shake I guess, if they do use that. Actualy MiG-29 and, as it is with Russian planes, probably the whole family of Su and MiG's incorporate a system which allows pilot to feel variable forces on the stick. Even thought AFAIK there is no direct couplings between the stick and control surfaces. MiG-29 stick is not constant loaded with a simple spring as joystick producers would probably want you to believe. There are different forces for example during high alt vs low alt flight or high speed vs low speed flight. Isn't it modeled in LO FC FFB? No? Then demand it :P Edit: Ofcourse I mean forces which pilot needs to aply to move the stick. I don't know if there are active forces acting on pilot's hand. Scarecrow
Well all I would really like to see is centre spring/return forces for the G940 for small stick deflection. In FC 1.12 the stick moves to refelct the aircrafts trim state but there is an area roung the stick centre point that has zero resistance to movement something ED should be able to program out if they want to according to Logitech_Mark (G940 project head). I know Logitech are keen to help devs incorperate modern FFB effects in their sims so I was wondering if updated FFB effects is something that ED intend to improve within FC 2.0. I don't want any hollywood effects I would just like just proper stick centering data for the G940 to use.
