zakobi Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 My game crashes during start-up with the Lock On 1.1xx FPS Tweak v2.0G7 mod. I don't have any other mods installed. Does any one what might fix it, or maybe another FPS tweaking mod?

A work a rounds is to; 1.Run Modman and uninstall the mod. 2.Using Modman read the readme file of the mod to find the screen resolution settings for the mod. If there is no reference to the screen resolution settings, open the graphics.cfg file within the mod with located in the Cofig folder. Look for the following info: DisplayMode { resolution = {1024, 768}; ß write this down bpp = 32; fullscreen = 1; aspect = 1.333333373; Interface { resolution = {1024, 768}; ß bpp = 32; fullscreen = 1; aspect = 1.333333373; } Simulation { resolution = {1024, 768}; ß bpp = 32; fullscreen = 1; aspect = 1.333333373; } AVI { resolution = {640, 480}; fullscreen = 0; aspect = 1.3333; 3.Run Lock On and change the screen resolution to match that of the mod. 4.Close Lock On and re-install the mod and run Lock On again. 279KIAP-Snake Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Okay, after installing the mod in modman and before running LO, open the graphics.cfg file located in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\Eagle Dynamics\Lock On\Config folder with wordpad (default install location). Change the resolution values indicated by the 3 arrows in above post to match your desktop resolution values. Save changes and close the file before running LO. AustinN360 Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Also don't forget to change your aspect ratio so it makes the dials in your look normal and not stretched or squashed. Change the value 1.333333373 to something else. Easiest way is to divide the screen resolution width by the height, in my case it's 1440/900=1.6.
RipKirby Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 (edited) I've run into the same problem and tried the fix above, which works but does this: When I start LOCFG it returns the following on startup: Loading A-10A View-SnapViews settings ------------ '' is not a valid integer value ---------------- ViewAngleMin: ---------------- and Unable to apply Lock On settings for the following reason:: (ViewSettings) '' is not a valid integer value Any thoughts? I had the same error. I forget what I did, did you try rebooting and then run it? Also right click on the icon /advanced/run as adminastrator click apply, click ok. close run again. if that doesn't work, try deleting the icon and make another shortcut.. These error messages are normal with this Mod and should be ignored.
