ED Team Wags Posted March 4, 2010 ED Team Posted March 4, 2010 (edited) For those more familiar with FRAPS than me... I'm using 3.1.1 on a high end i7 machine with 6 GB DDR 3 RAM using an Intel X-25M SSD drive (very fast). So very high end hardware that runs the software very well. However, when recording a video (1024x768 at full size) at 29.97, Stereo, I get a large video recording pause between FRAPS video file creations. The audio continues fine, but the video freezes between files. Double play back res and recording FRAPS at half size removed pauses, but screen texts are too small to read. Same result with standard 7200 drive with FRAPS and game installed to C:. Any ideas of how to remove the video recording pause? Kuky Posted March 4, 2010 Posted March 4, 2010 I made my Su-27 video by recording at 1/2 speed then speed it up when rendering the video.. the sound does not run at 1/2 speed though so there are discrepancies and I haven't figured out how to fix that. By the way, have you tried different compression of the video when rendering? ED Team Wags Posted March 4, 2010 Author ED Team Posted March 4, 2010 The play back speed is fine, the issue is the pause it creates when creating the next file in the series. Setting Force Lossless mostly solved it. Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt Twitch: wagmatt System: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3729544#post3729544
ED Team Groove Posted March 5, 2010 ED Team Posted March 5, 2010 Most probably a video codec issue. Im using FRAPS myself, will check it on my not so high end PC. 2 Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
