Lange_666 Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 After playing around with the graphical settings, i noticed that i didn't see any effect of the nosewheel light in front of me when taxiing down to the runway. In external view, the light was on (and i could cycle through on/off settings with ALT-L). However, in cockpit view, there was no light showing in front of me. I then started to increase various settings to get this light back to show, but even with every setting to the max, no light... After a reboot, everything was back to normal...? What are the minimal graphical settings for this nosewheel light to show from within the cockpit? Drone Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 In order to see the nosewheel light you have to have haze set to advanced Drone Lockon 1.2 Beta Test Team
ED Team Olgerd Posted April 16, 2005 ED Team Posted April 16, 2005 I.e. you don't see any lights from the cockpit? Or only noseweel? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] К чему стадам дары свободы? Их должно резать или стричь. Наследство их из рода в роды Ярмо с гремушками да бич.
Lange_666 Posted April 16, 2005 Author Posted April 16, 2005 After the reboot everything was back to normal so i did some tests using various settings. The "Lights" setting has to be on "All". The "Haze" setting has to be on "Advanced" (dunno why a "Haze" setting is needed for a "Light" setting). Strange that will all settings set to max, i didn't had any nosewheel light until after a reboot. Stowed away in some dark spot in my brain i feel i have a remembrance of someone posting something similar in 1.02. 666th_birdy Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 didn't we solve that problem a while ago whilst playing online Lange? At your age, you should start writing things down LOL DELL Inspiron 1564 / Intel Core i3 M330 @ 2.13GHz (4GB)___ATI Radeon HD4330(512Mb)___Windows7 Home Premium 64bit
Lange_666 Posted April 16, 2005 Author Posted April 16, 2005 Héhé Birdy old fart... Yes we did but now even with everything at max setting, no nosewheel light so hence the question. But as usual, after posting a question, i start diggin' a bit... Caretaker Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 The "Haze" setting has to be on "Advanced" (dunno why a "Haze" setting is needed for a "Light" setting). The "Haze" setting changes the way the landscape is rendered. "Shading" would be the better expression here I guess, as both the advanced haze and the various light effects on the ground require a more advanced shader. Caretaker ED Beta Test Team
Prophet_169th Posted April 17, 2005 Posted April 17, 2005 I was thinking all this time, that the nose-wheel light in the cockpit was going out LOL. I was just gonna tell you to take it slower taxi'ing.
