Thanks *phew*, do i install it on the SAME folder LockOn is installed? (it's giving a custom folder option and doesn't seem to recognise where LockOn is already installed on)

Are you saying we have to re-install Lock On then install FC2 after it..:doh:

No.

If you have lockon+fc installed then just install fc2 (in another folder).

If you just have lo installed, then just install fc2 (also in it's own folder).

And last, if you don't have anyone, then buy and install lo then fc2 (also in it's own folder).

Hey thanks

I have both Lo and Fc 1.12b

So do I make a new folder for FC2 in the same directory of Lock and FC1.12b or a separate folder outside of the Lock On Folder

No, FC2 should be treated as a separate product - install outside any FC1 folders.

Easiest thing to do is to click "next, next, next" on the installer and you'll be fine.

Install LO at its default directory.

Install FC 2.0 at its default directory. (no need to install any patches or FC 1.1)

Then to save disc space, uninstall LO unless you're planning to play that version.

Then that means that the original LO installation can be updated up to 1.12b freely and independently of FC2 . correct?
