I found a "bug" with the F-16 FM. The "bug" is that the F-16 FM's HUD doesn't switch to barometric ALT until 5,000ft MSL, which means between 1,000ft RAD ALT and reaching 5,000ft BARO ALT you have no altimeter readout on the HUD tape whatsoever*! The only way to tell your altitude is by the steam gauge on the center pedestal.

(The F-15 FM's HUD still works exactly as it did in FC1 with one RAD ALT scale below 1,000ft AGL and another RAD ALT scale between 1,000-2,500ft AGL before switching completely to BARO readout above 2,500 AGL).

*The exception with the F-16 FM is if you're banked more than ~60 degrees and or a steep enough climb/descent angle for the RAD ALT to function, then the HUD switches to BARO readout. However, as soon as you're within those angle limits again, anytime below 5,000ft AGL you lose the altitude tape on the HUD since it's scale immediately goes to 1,000ft and below (even if you're at an altitude between 1,000-5,000ft AGL).

Has anyone else noticed this with other planes using "HumanCockpit" (and a borrowed HUD)?

Has anyone figured out which entry in the AircraftNames.lau works for the F-111? i've tried F-111, F111,F111F and obviously F-111F, can't any of them to work unfortunately.

Do u know why in SinglePlayer I have Su-25T cockpit in Su-24, but in Multiplayer I have default Su-27 not Su25t?

EDIT: Problem solved, you know Su-24 could be allowed on public servers as SEAD plane!

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

Nice find!!! I didn't think this was going to be possible.

Figured out how to get the Harrier flyable. Struggled as there are references to AV_8B and BAE Harrier.

['AV_8B'] = _('BAE_Harrier'),

in aircraftNames did the trick. Would love to know how to make this VTOL.

You can mess with the L/D ratio all you want but once you hit 60 knots your jet starts falling until it reaches 60 knots again and then flies for a split second and then falls again.. almost like it's notching it's way to the ground. The only way to hover still is to add 60 knots headwind and you'll have enough artificial airspeed to keep you in hover!

Also for the Harrier picture to appear in the Payload Editor change the BAE Harrier.png to BAE_Harrier.png in the BAE_Harrier.lua where it says logo=

Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.
