Which value increase road view distance

I can't figure out what to change to see roads further away.

 

It is hard to navigate to a target when at 1500m you can't see roads just out the front of you cockpit until they pop into existence.

Often I will spot vehicles driving along and not even see the road they are on until i get closer.

I have Increased structures to 11km which helps with navigating has quite a big impact on fps.

 

Surely increasing road distance will not hurt my fps much more.

Anisotropic filtering will actually help in that regard and you need to turn it on in your graphic driver setting. And to my knowledge it doesn't take away too much fps. I set it at 8x.

Try LandLodDistances.

Yeah I have Anisotropic filtering set to 8x but that isn't the issue here I'm pretty sure.

I now remember turning it down while reading a tweaking guide.

It was so not worth it!
