We all want it ;)

Except me! Theres nothing better than a good helo flight model. I don´t care about fixed wing because theres nothing more challenging than flying a helicopter for me.

It´s like Formula 1 versus Rally Championship. Rally Is just 1000 times more exciting.

Well at the end I will just love the improvements of the new engine. A10 pfft nothing someone can do with the blackshark. It´s all about having a new toy instead of having a better tool. We will see ;)

Sorry for that I just think that most of the guys here just want something new. Instead of train with what they have.

You go this phenomenon through many of the aspects live have to offer, DCS is no êxception at this point.

I doubt ED would answer any questions relating to the military side of their products. But ED is a private company, so I guess if any military around the world asks them make a product, they would consider making a contract.

Get put in charge of procurement of training systems for your respective country and I'm sure ED would be happy to give you a quote ;)

I view the logos as more of an offer than anything else (we'll model anything except dinosaurs ;) ). But, I'm sure someone has to foot the bill for ED to stay in business.

P.S. It is very nice of the U.S. military to agree to allow the A-10C product (which has apparently something like 95% commonality with the military trainer)

I suspect you meant 'can't do', to which i reply, you obviously have NO idea of what the C-Hog can do. ;)

Well, honestly, comparing combat in a BlackShark versus combat in an A-10C is more like comparing Hide and Seek against professional soccer or football.

Of course everybody has his favorites.

Yes of course :P

That´s right I know a bit about the cannon but never flown the A10. I just wanted to hold my expectation low until the A-10 is released. Just a little Jedi Mind trick.

I definetely willl give the A-10 an audience. :P

There's more to it than the cannon. In this case, more means something in between 20 to 40 years of avionics and sensor R&D. Does 'all-wheather-capability' strike a chord? FLIR, GPS guided munitions, MLWS (if we're lucky). The TAD alone is such a boost in situational awareness compared to the ABRIS, it's just something totally different.

This thing will be cutting edge. Whatever scenario you throw at it, it will be up to the task, unlike the Ka-50, where major compromises have to be made in mission design to accomodate the lacks in the sensor suite. Don't get me wrong, there is a certain charme to working the Ka-50 to it's full capabilities, but underneath it all, the system is just too dated to operate on a modern day battlefield.

Hmm, FLIR,GPS guided, MLWS, TAD, multiple "Utillity Pod" possibilities, dedicated Air to Air wepaons, the Maverick.

Just one thing missing in this mind"blowing" package: The Rotor!

Thats one negative point for the A-10c.

The most important thing is still how does this Warthog feel when flying?

Need to wait to find it out, sadly.
