This time its quite bizzar, in the F15 campain from the begining when sitting on the ground with engines of my chaff dispencer randomlly despences chaff . When i get airbourne it carries on . If i use insert on the keyboard or my maped key on my cougar it workes as suposed too . but still as and when it wants the aircraft uses up all its chaff ... Any ideas , or am i being stupid and missed something :book:
104th_Crunch Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Considering there is no command in FC to dispense just chaff continually (only chaff and flare continually) I'd say you have a problem with your HOTAS programming.

Or hes flying a Mig and is running out of flares before he knows it.... :music_whistling: Tim "Breakshot" Mytrofanov | C.O. of 51 ПВО / 100 КИАП Regiments | twitch.tv/51breakshot
59th_Buncsi Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 Or hes flying a Mig and is running out of flares before he knows it.... :music_whistling: If he flying in a MiG, he should know, how many flare/chaff left. There is a calculator, what shows it. If he flying in a Su, than have to know by heart. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
evo6tme Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Just found out i am flying a harrier and didnt realise DOH:doh:.... Seriously though.. just descovered the H4 hat on my new cougar is knackered and keeps activating on its own (chaff mapped to it) .. Being bought online i might just replace the hat myself rather than the hasstle of sending the whole thing back
Breakshot Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 If he flying in a MiG, he should know, how many flare/chaff left. There is a calculator, what shows it. If he flying in a Su, than have to know by heart. Correct, and incorrect! For mig, yes there is an "overall" counter, but it doesn't distinguish between flares or chaff, its just total count from max of 60 For Su-27, you actually have the counters separate on the bottom right side of pit (as two green bars) So its really easy to approximate how many releases you have left, given you start with 96c and 96f (48 releases for flares as they are dropped in pairs) :) Tim "Breakshot" Mytrofanov | C.O. of 51 ПВО / 100 КИАП Regiments | twitch.tv/51breakshot
