any price but not one thats to complex thanks for replying

What do u mean with complex? A pricerange might be too high or even low price. So If I consider you dont care about any pricerange I suggest you the Saitek X52 Pro Flightstick. It provides hundrets of possibilities to program it, it is seperated into 2 devices, Stick and throttel and it just makes you feel like a pilot....somehow :pilotfly:

Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2. You can only buy it used, or old but never been opened condition. They don't make them anymore. You can find them on EBAY but there pretty expensive (cause there good). They dont have as many buttons as these modern sticks (8 buttons 1 hat). But the force feedback and the resistance "just feels right".

I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? QuickSilver original.

I can't tell how good the the different hotas are and that. BUT! my advice would to first get a x52/- pro, and when it fails, see where your need really is.

Actually, for budget I'd say x52 non-pro. That's what I bought as an interim solution while waiting for my TM Warthog - the price is only narrowly above a non-HOTAS like the Cyborgs, but it has pretty much the same functions as the Pro (but not the build quality). 100 euro (roughly converted from my currency) including 25% VAT for a HOTAS is a fantastic bargain, and the only thing really "missing" for the Hog is the split throttle.

a long time i used an tm afterburner 2 system, but some weeks ago i bought the x52 non-pro stick and im happy that i did that :)

the non-pro is much more cheap than the pro version and i wrote many times, that many people also prefer the non-pro x52 (not because the price)

greetings

Sorry but have to disagree on the difference between the X52 and the hog. Its like comparing a volkswaggen beatle and a porshe. they are rounded but dont perform in similar levels. Not by a long shot. :D

X52 is enough for simpler aircraft SIM's such as prop's as in IL2. But for serious jet fighters SIM's with multiple commands to master, instruments, radar modes, radar target managing, weapons delivery managing, countermeasures, views etc (it takes 3 hats in my setup just for basic control of the radar), the X52 clearly cant compete with a more programable with more buttons HOTAS such as the HOG. The difference is gigantic. And of course theres the handling and aestetics qualities, its adds to the difference (not main feature).

19th of May is the next update for the HOG.

Eager for reviews as X65F and G940 are failures for me.

I'd contest that actually. For one thing, even the non-Pro X52 actually has 9 8-way hatswitches if you use the three modes, and 18 if you add pinky-switch... I'm sure 18 8-way hatswitches is enough for most people. ;)

I personally only use 3 and they cover me quite fine.

And remember, for the future DCS Hog you'll have the clickable cockpit as well, so no need to spread every possible command around your HOTAS.

Why is the X65F a failiure for you? (The G940 was indeed for me)

Based on what reviews I can find and user opinions like yourself:thumbup:

I need a joystick that can handle Il2 1946(SOW whenever it gets here) and Black Shark.

The HOG seems to be the only option left as an upgrade for X52 Pro which i use currently.

Does FC 2.0 support dual throttle?????

Only use uncomfortable unergonomic (as often these devices are) shift key if the HOTAS doesn't have enough buttons and hats for straightforward rapid finger reach for all commands I wish. I use shift for commands that usually are least required during rush situations. Having a fast and intuitive broad profile counts a lot for me. Rapid reaction for a complete plethora of vital commands to stay alive and aware in the battlefield is paramount, yes Im picky, but for good reason :)

I feel I improved my skils every time I switched for a more powerful HOTAS as increased the spectrum of selected commands that before had to be pushed on keyboard, which anyone would have difficulty doing it in the middle of a furball with adrenaline pumping while looking forward, thus be able to take tactics to the next level each time :)

But I guess each has his approach (as well as depth of the wallet) to the gaming demands.

can I throw my 10 cents in here I have x52 non pro does everything I want I use 3 modes and pinky but I do like the look of the warthog but ok its a lot of money how do thrustmasters compare to ch products and which is the best if money is not the issue

i just like the built-in stopwatch function in the x52 pro throttle :)

feels so much better than using the lockon cockpit clock when timing your foxes :D

no real reson to buy the pro over normal but it adds a little bit of "real cockpit feeling" to me.

i don´t have many references cause the x52 pro was the first "real" joystick i bought but i can say that i´ve never ran out of buttons in lockon or BS and the feeling is just fine.

i don´t know whether you´ve already got one but some kind of head-tracker like trackIR or freetrack is much more important to me.

got trackIR and would be lost without it,but I'm looking for a stick to replace my x52, I fly black shark most of the time but I don't want a stick that is just for too specialised which is why I was thinking about the ch fighter rather than the warthog I don't have any preferance I just want the best all purpose stick
