Tride the demo a few years ago when I use to play IL2 1946. Thought the graghics were incredible for a 2003 game.

I have a couple of easy questions:

In the main menue of Lock On, little bit of the screen seems to be missing. For example, the left side where the Options tab is ect, hard to read them. I do have the ATI 4870 set to 1680x 1050 and the game aswell. Is there a simple fix for that?

Also, how do you set up the mouse so I can use the mouse weel for the throttle?

Thanks.

Do you have just lockon or did you buy FC or FC2 addon for it. If not forget Lockon part and just get FC2 addon and play that . FC2 does have a ATI problems. You will need to role back your driver till you find one that works.

I would strongly suggest getting FC 2.0 for it. It's hard to describe how much of an improvement it is, for me it feels like a new game. Also, I myself have serious stability issues with the stock lockon (even with latest patch installed), frequent game crashes and so on, while FC 2.0 is rock stable.

"get FC2.0" doesnt really help anybody right now.

A screenshot would imho help to solve your problem ;)

and about that "mouse throttle":

try to assign the button used for increase thrust (is it page up? I never use the buttons) to the mousewheel via your mousedriver, because i dont think lock on accepts mouse inputs as a key press by default.

I could be wrong here but you would assign an axis to the mouse wheel for him to use it as a throttle...
