I've noticed this too, it is very ugly.

Great to see you're all liking this mod guys

mustang, excellent work. . . once more. very good texture. maybe a version with weathered camouflage at the has-front is possible (like ed´s default texture)? this was standard at former russian air bases in the warsaw pact era.

thank you again.

If i can find suitable quality material to work from, i will most certainly create a camouflaged doors version :D

Goddamn those last doors look sexy! Reminds me of my time on Rygge AFB.

I had to check, just did a fresh install from v1.0 to v.1.02, it is still there in the fresh v1.02. I'd love to know what determines the LOD value for the hangers, separate to the main Graphics.cfg LOD value

Edit:- this applies for FC2 too FWIW.

EDIT2:- The LOD effect is really obvious in this pic from mustang, you can see 3 levels of LOD in a really short distance.

Thats exactly right Nate and I really dislike the way LOD switches so early... I wonder why is the LOD value in Graphic.cfg added for integrity check by placing it into servergraphics.cfg as this only affects distance when LOD of the objects switches... I always used to have this on value of 3 and I find value of currect 1.5 is too low (I can see the LOD switching on many objects... especially these hangars)

Maybe it have something to do with visual range on aircraft at different graphic settings?

F***in integrity check failed ARRRGGHHH!!!

Nate

Yeah, check out the servergraphics.cfg in Config folder, you'll find that the LOD's are covered in there for IC.

Possible solution... if someone can make LOM file of the hangars (even if just convert existing CMD file if possible) and have in Skins file define distances for LOD switching... same as for aircraft LOM files?!
