Hello fellows!

Does anybody use naturalpoints newer software TrackIr 5.0.300 AND Vista 64 AND uses its hibernate?!

ґcos I got the issue that the TIR software does not resume properly. After hibernate mode the program is still/again running but it is frozen - no reaction at all :(

Just wanted to know if anybody else got this issue or if it runs as it is supposed to do.......

Thanks for replies or thought ;)

Keep on flyinґ

check your device manager - look in the properties tab under the power settings. Check that the power settings are set to prevent the device from being powered off automatically.

Device manager - USB controllers - USB Root hub - Peoperties - Power Management Tab - uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device"

This happens on my Window 7 64bit as well. I've also recently had the problem where Blavk Shark will "deminimize" track ir continuously so i have to leave the track ir window open in the background.

I have this problem to. The power off device setting posted here and on the natural point forums does not work. Very frustrating having to restart TrackIR every time I want to play.

Curious as to why you are using hibernate? Sleep mode gives you low power consumption with potentially fewer complications. Plus you'll save the disk space from the hibernate file (small bonus).

Now, if you are talking about a laptop that could be different, but I don't use hibernate on my laptop either. If it's going to be unused for more than two days or so power off, otherwise sleep works fine. And with Windows 7 the boot time is much faster. There isn't an appreciable difference between booting and waking from hibernation. And graphics performance is better (we *are* talking gaming, after all).

Had the same issue after waking frOm sleep on W7x64, but the latest software update with the x64 drivers fixed it for me.
