HI Jim nothing has been made yet and I am rebuilding bot side console in a thinner lighter gauge aluminum. So there is no way to get you a final cost or shipping at this time. Sorry I should have a first run in Oct

Items that will be available

Left console

Left console back plates (excluding the 2 each AN/ARC 186 it needs a redesign with digital indicators witch I don't have time to do or reasearch) All of the switch and encoder rotary holes will be all ready correctly placed.

Right console

Right console back plates.

Center Pedestal with back plates for the TISEL and Breaker Panels.

Fuel Quantity Back Plate

Engine cluster Back Plate

SAI, Clock,AOA, UHF remote Back Plate

Arms/ HUD back plate

Landing gear back plate

The Dzus holes will be drilled for fake Dzus connectors.

rivet holes will be pre made

all you guys will need to do is rivet the consoles and center Pedestal together. Prime and paint the items.

The Left console is currently designed for the real throttle I need to find a step file of the WH throttle to incorporate in to the console if there is any demand.

CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.

I am working on the Aluminum back plate design the panels. The simulator panels I have are all different size stand off plates for the Dsub connectors and separate 5V DC lighting connectors.

With several different IO board systems in development do you guys have a standard that can be agreed on?

In other words what size plate and how should it be mounted behind the Aluminum back plate for each control panel?

Guys I have been reworking the left console Hans got me the Dimensions of the WH throttle it will not fit at this time.(originally we thought it would the top and bottom measurements of the unit are different)

I am not really looking at a total rework to fit it in for the limited interest any suggestions?

Its no problem Hans. I offer special modification if people answer as in the case of not drilling previous knob casting to save them money. I comply with the majority's wishes If no one answers then I just make a replica and they have a choice to make the purchase or not.

Thanks for the help DM, turned out to be a verification error.

I completely support the Left console TM Hotas support. C'mon folks, I'd honestly wager most A10C people run with the TM setup and if not, perhaps an option harness/support bracket would work? With DM's blessing of course, I will post in other flight simulation websites directing users to this forum post in hopes of drumming up views and consumerism for DM.

The TM Warthog Throttle is to wide and to long for the current replica build. The best thing I might suggest is a platform to fill the opening for the real throttle. The red block in the attached pictures shows the problem with the angles and size. Thanks for the support

I see. The real warthog throttle assembly is very difficult to acquire, as is most other A-10 cockpit components. I will look into the disassembly, perhaps the throttle mechanical actuation mechanisms can be separated from the electrical components. While this would void the warranty, I see no other way if the TM Hotas is to be used... I wonder how complex the internals of the throttle mechanism would be to replicate via CNC assuming the electronics from the TM Hotas were used...

This is just an after thought, and In no way do I suggest you do the legwork here, DM.

*Edit*

I found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fhjtd2DAz5E, jump to 4min 09sec to see the underside of the TM Hotas, cover removed. Also, a member from this forums "July865" had a picture with the cover removed as well. http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=92767&d=1389133576

It is my assumption, that the TM Hotas had a centrally located throttle so the entire assembly would not tip over or scoot around. This is why things are arranged as they are as opposed to the real throttle. I wonder if a "box" of sorts could be made with all electronics mounted underneath and to the left or below the throttle assembly on a suspended metal plate, via 4 long screws; similar to Tachno's build. Check out the bottom picture here: http://tacnoworld.fr/?cat=19 for a better representation of what I mean.

Well...

DM, If I might suggest, I'd recommend to include a way to stuff the TM Warthog throttle in. This HOTAS is widely available and many people that want to step in the cockpit building wouldn't want to ditch their 400 usd investment for the TM WH.

I checked the website you recommend and all I can see are A-10A throttles. No MiC, Coolie or Boat Switch on those throttles and honestly paying 275,00 in something you have to work a lot on doesn't justify for many people...

Please consider this aspect and you will have more sales ;)

Regards!

Check my previous post.... I specifically list it as an* A-10A throttle*.Now if you want to suggest how I fit 10 kilo of crap in a 5 kilo bag keeping the required forward angle for the fuel panel.the length of the combined throttle and EAC just screws up fitting the TM Warthog throttle in the Left consol. Please see previous post with the red block..... 15 to 20 people wanting the version would be helpful as well. Please remember this is in no way a full time business....

The problem with the TM WH is mostly the wrong slope between the LASTE panel and the throttles. However one could figure out an adapter for this set for those who prefer it over real throttles. With your permission of course, ☺
