zoranin Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 In the mission I think is called To the other side I cant overfly big mountain on wp 4 this is stupid but i cant, the mountain is to high for me,i try couple times and now Im pretty angry
AlphaOneSix Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Start climbing earlier. Turn on all anti-ice before you even take off so you don't have to worry about it later, you'll need it.
zoranin Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 funny problem I think my problem is not in method of climbing I try many variants but now I read on forum something about this deicing sistems,I have only one working this for rotors and I think this is my problem, how this sistems may influence on my problem?
AlphaOneSix Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 There is one switch to turn on rotor de-ice, and another for engine anti-ice. If you do not turn on the engine anti-ice, eventually one (or both) of your engines will quit running before you cross the mountain.
MTFDarkEagle Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Also not the engine anti-ice switch doubles as the engine anti-dust switches. Be aware, try and climb @ 120kmh Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
zoranin Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 Ok Thanks,I find everything about this problem on forum, speed, engine rpms, deicing sistems and many things related with my problem, now I see where is problem. Thanks anyway..
GunnDawg Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 I was just about to make an identical post. Glad this one already exists and one of my two questions has been answered. My other question was where do I find the rotor and engine de-ice switches?
Peally Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 Circled the switches and the status lights when they're on in red: http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n254/Peally/KA-50AntiIcing.jpg For the engine ice/dust protection, up is anti-ice, middle is off, and down is anti-dust (if I remember right). Luke.S Posted October 9, 2010 Posted October 9, 2010 i think i know the mission. Keep your distance from the mountain side. The Shark isn't as strong as the winds trying to blow it into the ground. Even at Emergency power.
