So when I launch the game and pick either a tutorial or mission and hit PLAY it starts to load DCS.exe (instead of Launcher.exe) which is normal but the icon next to DCS is an exclamation mark just like the one I used to flag this topic with. It shows the A10 picture like its going to load but doesnt do anything.

Whats the issue with that?

Wait until it loads. Depending on your system specifications, might take a while.

And don't do anything that could cause the DCS task going into background (like clicking on the desktop or on other open windows) as this will cause the task to hang.

Or if you hit ALT-TAB at the moment you game will crash. Just in case you were doing that to see if it was loading.

Maybe it's lack of RAM power or more importantly, using 32 bit Windows. I have to say that my system is in the very low end of the settings for this game, but it has improved a lot since I changed Windows 7 to a 64 bit version.

This is an amazing sim! 'Nuff said!:pilotfly:
